An old family house on Fig Tree Lane

The house is about two hundred years old. We bought it in 2016, kept the thick walls and the wooden shutters, and made six guest rooms around the courtyard.

We live in the small house by the gate. Ines makes breakfast and Marco looks after the pool and the garden. One of us is always at home, and we are happy to help with taxis, boats and dinner tables.

Six rooms, from €95 a night

Every room has its own shower room, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. They are named after the plants in the garden. Breakfast is included.

Breakfast on the roof terrace until half past ten. Bread from the bakery at the bottom of the lane, eggs, fruit, yoghurt and coffee.

  2. Folded cotton beach towels with fringed ends, stacked on a wooden stool

The pool is in shade after five. It is open from nine in the morning until eight in the evening.

  6. A table and chairs on the roof terrace at dusk, with the sea and the hills behind

Sunset from the roof terrace. We put out glasses, and a bottle of local white wine costs 16 euros.
