A visitor in room two, in front of two of the small Estuary panels.

Mira Solberg pours thinned acrylic onto panels laid flat on the studio floor and tilts them until the paint settles. The fourteen paintings in this show were made over two winters, after walks along the estuary at low tide.

The large panels hang in the front room. The small ones, most under €1,000, hang in room two.

Six artists share the studios upstairs and run the gallery together

Each of us has a studio on the first floor, works the gallery desk one day a week and shows here every 18 months or so. The works below are hung at their true sizes relative to each other.

Buying a work from the gallery

Every work has a label next to it with the price. Seventy percent of every sale goes to the artist. The rest pays the rent, the lights and the wages of Sara, who runs the desk four days a week.

How to read a label

  1. 1Artist. One of the six of us, unless the show has a guest.
  2. 2Title and year the work was finished.
  3. 3Medium. What the work is made of and what it is on.
  4. 4Size. Height before width, in centimetres, without a frame.
  5. 5Price including tax. A black dot instead of a price means sold. A ring means reserved.
  • Prices on every label

Works on the wall cost from €390 to €5,800. The price on the label is the same for everyone.

  • Pay over ten months

You can pay for any work over €400 in ten monthly parts with no interest. You take the work home after the first payment.

  • Reserve for 48 hours

Ask at the desk or by email and we hold a work for two days at no charge while you decide.

  • Delivery and hanging

Free delivery and hanging within 20 kilometres of Easthaven. Further away we pack and ship at cost.

Visit us on Wharf Row, facing the harbour
