About it

Every order has a free returns label in the box. Post us an empty Wickwell jar, we clean it, pour a new candle in the scent you chose and post it back within ten days.

A refill costs about a third less than a new candle, and the jar gets used again.

Price

£15 for a small jar and £30 for a large jar, delivery back to you included.

Turnaround

Within ten days of the jar reaching us.

Wax and wick

The same as a new candle: soy wax and unbleached cotton wicks.

Jars we take

Wickwell jars only, with no cracks or chips.

Care

1. On the first burn, leave it lit until the melted wax reaches the glass all the way round. That takes 2 to 3 hours for a small jar and 3 to 4 hours for a large one.
2. Trim the wick to 5 mm before you light it again.
3. Burn it for up to 4 hours at a time, away from draughts.
4. Stop when 1 cm of wax is left in the jar.
5. Never leave a lit candle in a room on its own, and keep it away from children and pets.
