Private dining and events
A private room for up to 24 at the table, and the whole restaurant for up to 90 seated or 140 standing. Lena plans every event with you, by email or over a coffee at the bar.
The private room
The private room sits behind the kitchen, with its own door to the yard and a long window onto the hearth.
It has a wall of stone, a sideboard for wine and coffee, a screen and speaker for talks, and its own heating and lighting. You can book it for lunch from 12:00 to 16:00 or for dinner from 18:00 to midnight, Tuesday to Sunday.
There is no room hire charge. You choose one of the three packages below, and we hold your date for seven days while you decide.
Room layouts and how many people fit
Choose a layout to see it in the room. The room is 12 by 7 metres. The red line along the top wall is the window onto the hearth.
For more than 40 people we close the whole restaurant. It seats 90 at the dining room tables and the counter, or holds 140 standing with the bar open.
Event packages, priced per head
Prices include tax. A 10 percent service charge is added to the final bill. Drinks beyond the package are charged from the bar list.
Long table feast

- A whole dry-aged rib and a whole fish carved at the table
- Seven courses with sides from the embers
- A welcome cocktail
- A glass of wine with each savoury course
Standing reception
55 per head
From 20 guests, up to 140 in the whole restaurant
- Ten pieces per guest from the fire, served over two hours
- Flatbreads, skewers, oysters, small sweet things
- Drinks on a tab, or 35 per head for two hours
- A cook at the hearth for your guests to talk to
