Questions
I have never done yoga. Which class should I take?
Yin and slow, or any class marked beginners. Vinyasa flow marked all levels is fine too. Tell the teacher it is your first class and they will show you the easier version of each pose.
Do I need to book?
Reformer classes always need booking because there are eight beds. Mat classes can be booked, or you can turn up and take a free mat. Busy evening classes fill up, so booking is safer after 17:00.
Can I come if I am pregnant or injured?
Usually yes. Talk to the teacher before class. Ines and Ruth can suggest the best class for you, and a private session is a good start after an injury.
Is there somewhere to shower?
Two showers and two changing rooms with lockers. Bring a padlock or borrow one from the desk. Towels are $2.
What if I am late?
You can join a mat class up to ten minutes after the start. Reformer beds are held until five minutes after the start, then given to the waiting list.
Can I bring my child?
Classes are for 16 and over. There is no childcare at the studio.
